My Kieslowski customized Moleskine diary
Well, it has just been improved.
2006 marks the 10th anniversary of the death of the Polish film director Krzysztof Kieslowski, an artist I'm also specially fond of. These days, there are a number of retrospectives about his work to mark the date. Here in London, the British Film Institute is showing many of his movies at the National Film Theatre.
Their monthly programme contains some beautiful frames of Kieslowski's movies, "Trois couleurs: Bleu" and "La double vie de Véronique". Funnily enough, you can cut out a part of the leaflet and you'll have both the charming faces of Juliette Binoche (Julie) and Irène Jacob (Weronika/Véronique) on each side of the paper.

Now, whenever I open it, I can hear the utterly moving musical scores of both films, by Zbigniew Preisner and let my imagination fly into the magical stories within those movies. (I'm not saying that you could hear it, but I definitely can)
Eventually, I close it carefully, wrap the rubber band around the diary again, and everything goes back to normal.
But I know I just have to open my diary to create that universe again. In fact, I do it quite often when no one else is looking. ¶ 22:05

Mecachis. Me acabas de recordar que nunca llegué a ver La doble vida de Verónica y que me quedé con las ganas. A ver si pillo alguna reposición. A Irene Jacob la vi en Rojo, encantadora. Y Juliette Binoche, en Azul, desgarradora. Me gusta tu Kieslowski customize Moleskine diary. Anda que no eres friki tú también.

Mmmm...pues es difícil de decir, porque Azul es un peliculón...pero yo casí diría que La doble vida es LA PINÍCULA...eso sí...hay que verla en VO, si no, no vale... creo que la acaban de sacar en DVD por primera vez...es una buena oportunidad. Pero nada como verla en cine...con esa música...brrrr....como escarpias se me ponen los pelos sólo de pensarlo.
Y friki...sí, bastante...y a mucha honra!! :P

Juliette Binoche es mi actriz favorita. En realidad, el personaje de mi relato es una mujer de este estilo. El otro día, leyéndolo de nuevo visualicé a Juliette, que raro, no?, que ahora lea esto sobre tu Moleskine.
Pero es la pura verdad. Casualidades...
Mi Moleskine hace muchísimo tiempo que la tengo y sigue vacía. Me gusta tanto que hasta me sabe mal llenarla de palabras. Sólo tiene algunos dibujos dentro.
