Pipilotti Rist in London

These are some pics of the video intallation of artist Pipilotti Rist at the Hauser & Wirth Gallery in London.
The images are projected from a hanging projector (the dark round thing on the image) onto the mirror floor and the reflection fills the ceiling of the gallery (formerly a bank). On the other hand, the projector casts another video directly onto a decorative plaster circle on the ceiling (maybe the space for a chandelier?). It all makes for a pretty amazing ensemble, as you are invited to lie on some sort of bed-looking-benches and look upwards to the ceiling (that's how I got these pictures). Meanwhile, a strange music fills the air. 100% Pipilotti Rist.

I discovered the work of Pipilotti Rist in Amsterdam back in 1998, then she came to meet me in Bilbao, my hometown, and our paths cross again here in London. I love the magical images and her slow motion world...  ¶ 18:56
