Go further - My new bike
This is part of my new bike's stem. I like the saying. It reminds me of the cheering up expression Ultreia! used formerly by the pilgrims going to Santiago the Compostela (Spain). They would shout that in order to get the strenght and spiritual help to go further, to complete their epic journey of hundreds (if not thousands) of kilometres to the burial of the Apostle St. James (on the western most part of Europe) or far beyond to Cape Finisterre (literally, the end of the world)
I like these metaphores that life gives you all the time. These lessons hidden in every little object and detail.

Tiene muy buena pinta,ya pensé que este fin de semana irías en busca de la "bici ideal". Si quieres hacer más kilómetros, podeis coger el tren -bici incluida-, pasar el Canal..ya sabes.
Y sin problemas con el oxígeno del avión!

Pues si, es buena bici...lo suficiente para estar encantado, pero no tanto como para morirme de miedo al dejarla candada por ahi.
Pero pequeño detalle: TIENE LOS FRENOS CAMBIADOS DE MANETA!!! En este pais, como no pueden ser como los demas, el freno de atras esta en la maneta izquierda y viceversa...enfin.
Hilario Si, si que lo he hecho...incluso he sido guia con grupos en el camino...y la idea del viaje es la que mas me gusta como metafora vital, uno es un peregrino permanente...

I've already fitted it with a rack for my yellow german panniers...it just looks great, and I have my tool to go to work (and everywhere else) again.

El camino es la meta, no el destino. Siempre quise hacer el Camnino de Santiago, pero ni mi familia ni mis amigos se apuntan. Tendre que esperar. Aunque todo llega, o eso espero al menos.

Consumidor Pues aunque el Camino en compañía está muy bien. El auténtico camino es el de uno mismo, solo. Así que te animo a que lo hagas. A todo el mundo le digo lo mismo, es algo que hay que hacer una vez en la vida... pero tampoco tiene por qué ser el de Santiago, el Francés...cada uno tiene su camino :)
